We are so excited to be joining the PEARL iZUMi team for 2018, and we’re looking forward to sharing our adventures here on the Endure & Enjoy blog. In 2018, we will be racing enduro all over the US and the world (finishing our season with two Enduro World Series events in Spain and Italy). When in the US, we’ll be living out of our Ford e350 cargo van that we have recently converted into the ultimate mountain bike adventure van. We share all of our van and bike misadventures on our YouTube channel
Here’s a little bit more about each of us:
Macky started racing cross-country mountain bikes at age 15, and immediately got the bike racing bug. He went on to race cross country at the pro level for seven years, before transitioning to enduro in 2013. Since then he has collected a handful of podium results at US enduro races, as well as completing a full Enduro World Series in 2015. He has raced his bike in New Zealand, Australia, France and many other places around the globe.

Syd grew up in Ohio and started riding bikes as a kid in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian mountains. After college, she moved westward and discovered big mountains and enduro racing. Over the past four years, she has competed in enduro races all over the US and the world. She shares her experiences and encourages other new riders and racers through her blog.
